The refrigerator clicks and does not turn on during power surges

Sergei asks:
I have a new refrigerator. But there is a voltage drop in the room, the lights blink. The refrigerator does not turn on mine. Only some clicks are heard. Tell me, did my refrigerator burn out or is it a defensive reaction of the refrigerator to power surges?
The answer to the question:
Doesn't turn on at all? Maybe protection, maybe burned out. When there are no voltage drops, what happens? If it works fine, then this is protection. If it still works - buy a stabilizer for 1.5-2 kW (it is possible less, but not the fact that it will pull, especially if the "Chinese" cotton wool is indicated there).
