What protective equipment should be equipped with electrical installations

Each electrical installation must be equipped with protective equipment, while the entire set must be attorney and accompanied by certificates of conformity. Moreover, the concept of "electrical installation" includes such objects as switchgears, transformer stations, substations, workshops of a power plant, etc. A set of protective equipment can be an inventory of mechanized repair stations (hereinafter referred to as RMS), mobile laboratories, field teams and, of course, centralized repair teams.

If the distribution devices in an amount of no more than four are located in the same building and at the same time they are of the same voltage and are serviced by the same personnel, it is enough to equip them with one set of protective equipment. However, this rule does not apply to portable grounding and protective fences, they must be equipped for each switchgear separately.
